CHAPTER HISTORY

Chartered on April 20, 1975 on the campus of The George Washington University by nine dynamic women, the Mu Beta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was the first black greek letter organization on the campus of the George Washington University. This is only the beginning of their legacy.

50th Charter Anniversary: Mu Beta's 50 Golden Years
In honor of our charter on April 20, 1975, the Mu Beta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. held a 50th charter anniversary celebration on April 25-27, 2025, to honor its long-standing legacy. The 50th anniversary celebrations followed a week of commemorative events held during our annual Delta Week.
